The newly opened station, located on US-421 (Leestown Rd.) and adjacent to I-64, decreases response times for EMS calls by as much as 10 minutes. Guests included Rep. James Kay, Judge Executive John Coyle, Midway Mayor Grayson Vandegrift, Ambulance Service Director Freeman Bailey, KBEMS representatives Drew Chandler and Robert Andrew and other officials and community members.
