In 2014, the Kentucky Board of Emergency Medical Services acquired a patient tracking system through a generous partnership with the Kentucky Department for Public Health's Emergency Preparedness Branch. This web-based system may be utilized statewide by EMS agencies, hospitals, and other emergency management officials.
Agency administrators must notify KBEMS of their intent to use the system once staff are trainined. Two online training videos (access information below) are available to become familiar with how to use the system. Once notification is received, KBEMS will import KEMSIS user accounts to the patient tracking module if applicable in order that EMS providers may use existing username and password information.
Online Training Videos Access Code: KYPH.PRElite
To access to the patient tracking system, open your Internet browser, navigate to https://kemsis.kbems.kctcs.edu/resourcebridge, and add the site to your favorites. We have also placed a convenient link at the very top of all KBEMS webpages.
Hospitals and Public Health agencies may also contact the KDPH Emergency Preparedness Branch for system access by calling 502-564-7243 option 3.
