Evaluator

EMS Skill Evaluators are responsible for the fair and consistent evaluation of candidates abilities during a practical examination.  They are held to a high standard and must be experienced EMS providers and able to provide an unbiased examination of skill environment.

Kentucky EMS Evaluator Requirements

EMS Evaluator Checklist (KBEMS-E21)

  • Currently certified as a Level I, Level II, or Level III Kentucky EMS Educator or unrestricted license as a Physician
  • Completion of KBEMS Evaluator Training Program
  • Two (2) Years of patient care experience
  • Submit Application for EMS Evaluator
  • Submit Application Fee $10.00

Kentucky EMS Evaluator Renewal Requirements

EMS Evaluator Checklist (KBEMS-E21)

  • Maintains current state certification or licensure as a provider
  • Currently certified as a Level I, Level II, or Level III Kentucky EMS Educator or unrestricted license as a Physician
  • Completes one of the following during the certification period
  • Participates in a minimum of two separate evaluation on two separate dates
  • Attends KBEMS Evaluator Orientation Course
  • Submit Application for EMS Evaluator Renewal
