Out of state Paramedics or NREMT Paramedics wanting to obtain Ky. Paramedic licensure may do so in two ways:

 Out-of-State Paramedic Reciprocity Minimize

Two-year licensure for out of state Paramedics wishing to obtain KY Paramedic licensure.  Must have Determination of Death certificate and NREMT-P certification. 

 

Allow 30-45 days for processing.

 Paramedic Temporary Licensure Minimize

For use only if UNABLE to meet all requirements of the Out of State Paramedic Checklist.

Allows 6 months to obtain the Determination of Death Regs class or NREMT-Paramedic Certification.  6-month license, Non-Renewable.   Allow 30-45 days for processing.
